Is sodium coco-sulfate made from coconut?

Yes. This one is coconut.

Sodium coco-sulfate is a foaming cleanser made from the whole mix of fatty alcohols in coconut oil. It is sometimes shortened to SCS.

It is a common cleanser in shampoo bars and in products that advertise having no SLS. A large part of it is the same molecule as sodium lauryl sulfate, because lauryl alcohol is the biggest fraction of coconut’s fatty alcohols. So “SLS-free” on a product that lists it means less than it sounds.
